For the past four years, I have worked as an investment designer on Destiny 2 at Bungie. In this role, I have taken on a variety of responsibilities. I developed upsell systems and in-game block outs for other teams, created MTX storefronts for multiple releases, designed and built season passes, and remodeled PvP bounty systems. Additionally, I led feature teams from initial concept to full implementation and successful shipping.
During my tenure at Bungie, I have taken on the responsibility of developing and maintaining microtransaction (MTX) systems. This role has afforded me the opportunity to work on a range of components within Destiny 2's robust engine. Below are the key elements I have contributed to:
Upsell and Notification Creation

Created banner notifications upon login to the in-game orbit page to notify players of upcoming events, sales, seasons, and expansions

Worked with multiple disciplines building the empty shell items to be populated with our art and narrative teams​


MTX Storefront Creation and Upkeep

Upkept and designed the live in-game storefront for multiple seasonal releases

Planned, implemented, monitored, and bug fixed storefronts from start to ship

Conducted playtests and iterated storefront models over multiple instances before shipping

Collaborated with multiple teams to supply different vendors throughout game with unique items and currencies
PvP Achievement and Bounty Reworks

Reworked old and designed new reward systems related to competitive PvP game modes

Updated and wrote documentation illuminating system design and file locations for long-term stability


Leading New Cosmetic Feature
